Delete your BoomBoats data
BoomBoats · published by The Last Click L.P. · last updated 18 August 2026
BoomBoats has no account to close. Everything the game knows about you is kept on your own phone, and you can erase all of it yourself, from inside the game, without asking us.
Delete it from inside the game
- Open BoomBoats.
- Tap the gear button in the top right of any screen.
- Tap DELETE MY DATA, the last row of the settings sheet.
- Confirm with DELETE.
It happens immediately, on the spot, and it cannot be undone. The game returns to its welcome screen as if it had just been installed.
What that erases
| Erased | What it is |
|---|---|
| Your captain | Name, avatar, level, XP, officer rank and rank points |
| Your progress | Credits, unlocked and equipped Power Ups, badges, fleets and skins |
| Your record | Match history, wins and losses, accuracy, streaks, ships sunk, missions |
| The analytics identifier | The random id the app generated on first launch to count usage. It is thrown away and a new one is created if you keep playing. |
Uninstalling the app removes the same things, because they never lived anywhere else.
What is left afterwards, and for how long
The game sends anonymous usage counts to Google Analytics — the app was launched, a screen was opened, a battle started and how it ended. Those events carry the random identifier described above and nothing that points at you: no name, no email, no advertising id, no Google or Apple account. Once the identifier is erased, nothing connects the events already sent to the person who sent them, or to your next game.
Those anonymous events are not kept indefinitely. Event-level records age out of Google Analytics after 2 months, and the user-level record after 14 months of inactivity.
On iPhone
Game Center also keeps a copy of the save in your own iCloud, inside your Apple account rather than ours — we cannot read it or delete it. To remove it, delete BoomBoats' saved data from iCloud in the Settings app on your iPhone.
On Android
There is nothing beyond the phone. The Android version has no Game Center, no account, no cloud copy, and no online play — deleting your data or the app leaves nothing behind.
If you would rather write to us
You can ask us to delete your data instead of doing it yourself, or ask what we hold about you:
We answer within 30 days, as the GDPR requires. In practice there is usually nothing to hand over or delete on our side: we hold no name, no email address and nothing that points back to you. If you want the anonymous usage events removed as well, say so and give us the date and rough time you played — that is the only handle they have.
The whole picture is in the privacy policy, and anything else can go to support.
