It helps to include your iPhone model, your iOS version and the build number, which is printed at the bottom of the game's Settings sheet. If something looks wrong on screen, say what you saw and what you expected.
Common questions
Is there an account?
Not one we make. Game Center signs you in with the account already on your iPhone — no sign-up, no password, no email address handed over. Switch Game Center off and the whole game still plays; you just cannot be matched against other people.
Where is my progress kept, and can I move it?
On the device. A copy is also written to your own iCloud saved game through Game Center, but carrying it onto a second iPhone is not switched on yet — that copy is a backup waiting for the feature that reads it. For now, deleting the app deletes your captain.
How do I delete everything the game knows about me?
Settings → Delete my data, from the gear button on any screen. It erases the captain, the progress, the badges and the match history immediately.
Does it cost anything?
No. There are no purchases and no advertising. The game has one currency, Credits, and it is only ever won by playing battles and finishing missions — it stocks your Power Ups and cannot be bought with money.
Can I play against a friend?
Yes. Quick Match looks for someone at sea and sends in an AI captain if nobody answers, so a battle always starts. You can also invite a friend directly through Game Center, and on iOS 26 play inside a FaceTime call with SharePlay.
What does the game send about me?
Anonymous counts of how it is used — launches, screens opened, battles started and how they ended — under a random identifier that is not tied to you or your Apple account. Nothing else. The privacy policy spells it out.
I found a rules bug — a ship that would not sink, a turn that skipped.
Please send it. Include what you saw and, if you can, a screenshot of the board; the rules engine has a test suite and a report like that is what gets added to it.
